Yo Diablo is a wild fingerpicking duo from Valencia, known for their "tucu-chaca" rhythmic mantra. Their music is a blend of bluegrass, surf rock, deep blues, and psychedelic rockabilly with delirious flamenco-inspired melodies. They have graced some of the most prominent national festivals such as the Low Festival, BIME, Fuzzville, B-Side, or Monkey Week, as well as international stages including the Raut Oak Fest (Germany), FOCUS Wales (Wales), ESNS in Groningen (Netherlands), New Colossus Festival in New York and SXSW in Austin (USA).
After their debut LP, "Serpientes" (2019), the band released "Häxan" in 2023, an interpretation of the soundtrack for the 1922 film "Häxan: Witchcraft Through the Ages." In May 2024, they released "III," their latest album, which explores Spanish psychedelic pop-rock from the 1970s, as well as other genres like Ethiopian jazz, hard rock, post-rock, and stoner rock.
