Release Radar: Sleeping Tapes Sessions - Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys
Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys have released Sleeping Tapes Sessions, which include two B-sides from their latest offering.
The full length album was released through Unique Records in September 2019 and is a collection of psychedelic folk songs meant to serve as quiet companions for restless thoughts. It was recorded in South Africa just before Lucy relocated to Berlin in 2018. The two B-sides, Loose Ends and Formless were created during the original recording sessions but fell outside of the realm of lullaby and seemed to want to stand on their own. Almost a year after the official release, the songs feel ready to be shared, offering a window to what was and to what will soon follow, as Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys prepare for the next album.
