Elle E enters a new era with the release of her first Afrikaans Rock track "Probleem Kind"
In an exciting development, Elle E has branched into the Afrikaans music sphere. The first single off the forthcoming “SKREE EN HUIL” EP, set to release on October 2, 2024, is “Probleem Kind.” As an native Afrikaaner, growing up in Worcester in the Western Cape, Elle E taps into her past experiences and farmland upbringing to pen an angst ridden debut EP.
About “Probleem Kind”
“Probleem Kind” delves into the struggles of someone abusing prescription medication, exhibiting narcissistic tendencies, and displaying manipulative behavior. This individual is clearly battling mental health issues, which are causing them to push people away. However, in the second verse, there's a powerful message of encouragement to reclaim personal strength: "Soos Britney Spears, have no tears, waai daai messe teen jou fears" (Like Britney Spears, have no tears, swing those knives against your fears). This verse inspires taking control and confronting fears head-on.
