Release Radar: ‘Bambile Bambile’ by Amapiano rising star, Scotty Tee, is released through The Good Times Co’s Sister Imprint Present Global, and an update to The Good Stuff playlist!
Sibusiso Junior Scotty Gabela was born and raised in Soweto, in Orlando West’s historic Vilakazi Street. From a young age Scotty had a passion for producing music. Now, in January 2022, he’s surfacing on the South African music scene - and making a claim on the title of the new Amapiano king on the block with the release of his first single.
Produced before Covid - at a time where we could freely express ourselves without limitation this song reminds us of what real freedom is like. Titled “Bambile Bambile”, the track sees Scotty Tee demonstrate his skills as a producer and performer with a track that features Miano and Sammy Tee and that has all the makings of a summertime hit track. You cannot help but dance when you hear it. P“Back in 2013 I began creating music, and experimenting with vocals as well as began producing ringtones with my cousin,” says Scotty Tee. “We realised what we were doing was so inspirational to other kids in the hood that we began taking it seriously from that moment on and have never looked back.”
