The collaboration originally came together when the band heard Reign’s track ‘Kwaze Kwamnadi’ which lead to the band reaching out to him. What also needs to be mentioned, is that two of the members attended high school with Thembinkosi which made the collaboration even more special.
“Music has this powerful way of bringing people together and for us sharing ideas is something that we what this remix to reflect. Thembi has taken a heavy “post-rock” song and combined his aesthetic to create something that feels fresh and relevant to both genres - especially in South Africa.”
